Our Mission
The mission of the CSO Risk Council is to create a better process to develop and share innovative solutions and pertinent information with organizations to improve safety and security risk by providing a forum to discuss best practices and recommendations for specific risk scenarios and to network with other enterprise security professionals.
Our Founding Members
Michael J. Martin
Michael Martin is a proven leader in the Security Services & Risk Assessment industry. In December 2018, he became CEO of Circadian Risk. In addition, Michael provides direction and guidance for Aerospace & Defense security programs. Prior to joining Circadian, Michael served as President of Allied Universal’s Canadian Operations from 2016 to December 2018. During that time, he oversaw the tripling of revenues and numerous M&A integrations in both Canada and the Midwest. He also supports numerous charitable causes in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan.
Daniel R. Young, MBA, MS
Daniel has extensive experience in risk analysis and technology. He has dedicated his professional career to developing a risk method that utilizes data to understand the means to truly analyze and mitigate risks. He has worked within private guarding, consulting, and government. He has been instrumental in developing risk strategies for global enterprises.
Gustave K. Lipman
Gustave K. Lipman is an investor and advisor to innovative security services groups. In January 2019, Mr. Lipman became Chairman of Circadian Risk. In addition, Gustave Lipman has been a Senior Partner of Scorpion Group Solutions that focuses on Defense and Intelligence business to government sales of advanced military, counterterrorism and counterintelligence solutions. In this role, he has identified and represented cutting edge security technology providers from Israel for the United States and its allies. Gustave Lipman serves as an advisory board member of both Ataata and BLAKFX.
Ray Musser
Ray Musser has more that 40 years of experience in security and law enforcement operations. He currently consults to both industry and government on security and regional issues. He previously served as the Vice Chair of the Defense Industrial Base Coordinating Council from 2006-2014. In 2002 and in 2014 he received the FBIs Directors Award for Exceptional Service in the Public Interest.
